Founded in 1987, ACE-Quebec is the second largest region in terms of membership. Five members manage and coordinate activities at the executive council. We are currently seeking to complete our executive team; contact us!


ACE-Q President's Letter

Bonjour! Hello dear members and partners!

I am Priscille Hastey, an ergonomist and prevention consultant, and I am truly delighted to introduce myself as the President of ACE-Q.


Here I am with you, for the first time as an executive member. Like Pierre Rabhi's little hummingbird, I wanted to do my part. When I submitted my candidacy, I felt that ACE-Q should champion the fact that: ergonomics is a strategic prevention discipline; ergonomists contribute to change in decision-making spaces; future ergonomists inspire us to improve; and human connection and the exchange of best practices strengthen our foundations. In 2027, we will stay focused on the objectives defined at the last general assembly.

Our objectives

Surveying current members: to understand everyone's needs and adapt our activities, because every member counts

Welcoming new members: for a diverse network and a stronger, more recognized discipline

Offer accessible webinars: to represent the French-language discipline—perhaps even with subtitles or sign language interpretation.

Provide support for certification and mentor more ergonomists: because preparing the application together is definitely more fun!

Making space for students: ensuring they feel supported for as long as they need it

Talking to one another and learning together: sharing our experiences and finding solutions as a team

Promoting ergonomics to businesses in Quebec: ensuring that ergonomists hold a strategic position at the heart of business decision-making.
