In partnership with CROSH and Workplace Safety North (WSN), the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) will be hosting a free webinar entitled Participative Office Ergonomics- Empowering Workplace Parties through Technology, on Wednesday, Oct. 24th. The goal of the webinar is intended to re-educate former and potentially new clients with respect to office ergonomics and demonstrate/educate on our new participation approach we have under taken to address the overwhelming requests for office ergonomic assessments. They will be discussing the new CSA Office Ergonomic Standard and the new MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario. The content of these documents and what they mean for industries will be explained.

Persons with Disabilities Day (Gagetown, NB) Every year in observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the 5th Canadian Division Support Group (CDSG) Defence Advisory Group (DAG) for PWD organizes a conference-type event to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities to increase awareness of some of the challenges they encounter at work and in their communities. On 29 November 2018, 5 CDSG will host a series of guest speakers and a vendor and stakeholder exposition, representing the PWD community and the various support agencies, both internal and external to DND.
